I got up very early on that day. I need to catch up the first bus to Sokcho. My activity on that day was went to Seorak-san at Sokcho.
From my hostel, I went to Dong Seoul Bus Terminal to go to Sokcho. The bus station is at Gangbeon Station, line number 2, exit number 4. I took the first bus 0625 in the morning. It took 2 hours to arrived at Sokcho. The fare for the bus is KRW 16,100 one way.
From Sokcho bus terminal, I took local bus number 7-1 to Seorak-san Sogongwon (Seorak Mountain small park). At the bus stop, I met an ahjussi who is really nice. He asked me where I came from. When I told him I want to go to Seorak-san, he was really excited. We rode the bus together. The fare for the bus is KRW 1,100. I can't use my T-Money. I paid the fare with cash. In the bus, the ahjussi told me a lot about Seorak-san. Even though I can't understand any single words, but he still try to conversed with me. We even exchanged chocolate bar.
Initially, my hiking course that I planned was from Sogongwon, I will take cable car and go to Gwongeumseong. The course is about 1.5 KM and take 30 minutes. Unfortunately, due to strong wind, the cable car was not operated. So, I just wandered around the park before went back to Seoul. I definitely will come back again here if I travel again to Korea.
